Ice Breaking
This is one trembling act that nature can present, and what people in the Northern Hemisphere are waiting for after a long winter. The ice loses its grip on the lakes and rivers with cracking sounds and disappears into the unknown.

Never been fond of the snow or cold, but winter can be beautiful. My mother described the season as; deadly beautiful. Perhaps I felt a little homesick after seeing pictures of massive walls of ice across lakes and on the shores. When the masses of ice rush down the river and everything around you is white, it's like you'd be swept along the stream and you learn how small you are in this world. But an experience you won’t forget.
