Welcome

"Eccentric gallery", unconventional in other words, because I'm quite an odd person. No, I don't call myself an artist, but if someone does; I'm not offended. Or when my painting might be called for art, it's ok, that's the opinion of an onlooker. I paint because it's fun and I want to keep it that way.

After twenty years of thinking about having a portfolio online, I'm finally doing this. But all this time is taken away from painting.

The biggest fear factor was choosing the host. One need support taking care that everything works along the time the site is up. Also someone with skills to put the site together. Either they kept disappearing, or the offices couldn't be reached and when found, asking a lot of money for about a one week job. Three times the amount I earn in a week at my job. As for a business, that amount makes sense. For my project; too much. And yet, I'm the editor, putting together alone all the content.

My workspace 2003. A lot have changed the past twenty years, as the paints and spaces I’ve been using.

A friend told me about this Squarespace. I studied for a couple of evenings how this works and found a layout. From an ocean of examples, tutorials and comments, I still couldn't find what this would cost. The customer service replied to my email with exact figures in twenty minutes and I was sold. Few more minutes, I had the domain registered and a web gallery under work.

It will take at least a month, or two, before here's what is expected. Such as texts about several matters you might be interested in and of course pictures of paintings. A shop? Yes, opening in due time, but not a conventional shop.

Thank you for your visit!
